Formal Response To SDACT Recognition Request Will Be Given By January 30

   In a letter dated January 2, 2008, Susan Dennen, System Director of the Holy Redeemer System, responded to SDACT's demand for recognition.  Below is her response:

     Receipt is acknowledged of your letter of December 10, 2007.  As you know, our Board has only recently been fully constituted and there are numerous important matters on our agenda.  Due consideration is being given to your request for recognition to represent the teachers in our regional system.  Our Board will give a formal response to your request by January 30, 2008.

    We have not yet received responses from the Holy Cross and St. John Neumann Systems.  History has shown, however, that all three systems are moving in lock-step when it comes to SDACT recognition.  Therefore, similar letters are expected within the next few days.
